Kaylei & Mihail’s Moab Wedding
As a Moab photographer, there are days that stand out from the rest, and this Moab wedding at Red Earth Venue in Moab, Utah, was one such occasion. From the moment we met the couple, Kaylei and Mihail at the venue, it was clear that this day would be nothing short of extraordinary.
Arriving early, we had the chance to scout the venue and its setup before the guests arrived. The attention to detail was impeccable, and the natural beauty of the surroundings added an extra layer of charm. The couple had chosen well – this venue is my absolute favorite venue to photograph at. As the guests began to arrive, we prepared for their intimate ceremony in the back property of the venue. With the sun dipping low on the horizon, the setting was nothing short of breathtaking. The couple exchanged vows against the backdrop of Moab’s iconic red rocks, and I couldn’t help but feel a little emotional on my end of the camera while capturing such a special moment. Following the ceremony, we moved to another area of the property for couple portraits. The rugged landscape provided the perfect backdrop, allowing us to capture the raw beauty of the surroundings alongside the love shared between the newlyweds. The festivities continued well into the evening, with champagne flowing and laughter filling the air. A meal prepared by a private chef added a touch of luxury to the occasion, while the dance floor came alive with energy and joy. As the night drew to a close, the couple bid farewell to their guests with a sparkler exit—a fitting end to a truly magical day.
Looking back on the experience, it’s clear that Red Earth Venue is more than just a backdrop for weddings—it’s a canvas upon which love and memories are painted. And as a photographer, there’s nothing more rewarding than being able to capture those moments for the couple so they can have them to look back on for forever. It’s truly so special to me. I love this job!
