Hey, I’m Kelly, that fun person you invite to your elopement who knows how to snap memories and find the best spots for the view, a.k.a. your Utah elopement photographer.
My husband and I eloped 7 years ago (that’s us!!! >>>) and had so much fun. Best part? We didn’t have to to dance in front of people, or worry about everyone else having a good time during our wedding. We were able to be fully present with each other, having the day we dreamed of. That’s how I figured out I wanted to photograph elopements!
Now 120+ elopements later, it’s still so exciting to scout locations, figure out a timeline, snap and edit your photos, and yes, even figure out the legal stuff.

Utah is my backyard. That means you’ll have all my insider knowledge of the best places to elope in Utah when you book — not just the national park places everyone knows about. I’m talking about the hidden gems with the privacy and mystique you’re searching for — the free places to get married in Utah.
No Legal Scaries
The worst part about eloping is the legal part, am I right? Luckily I know the state and park rules, so I can walk you through what you need to do before saying, “I do!” I apply for permits when I can, and when it’s up to the couple, I’ll make sure you know exactly what you need to do.
Bringing Your Day To Life
Each elopement day is designed around you and what you want. Want to take a private plane across Moab? I know the vendors who can make that happen! Want golden aspens, or red rocks, or snow-capped mountains? I know a spot (or two or three). Sometimes the weather doesn’t corporate so I always have backup plans. I’m even down to go out the next day if the weather looks better — remember, eloping is about you!
Planning Questionnaire, Guide, and Timeline
Between the kick-off call and questionnaire, I figure out what your dream elopement looks like, what to bring, what to wear, how many hours of photography coverage you need, suggest vendors, and give you a few location recommendations with a 3D map.
After we’ve made the big decisions, we’ll lock in what your day will look like from start to finish, creating the ultimate timeline where you experience everything you want.

Getting married outside means facing the elements, which are often unpredictable in remote locations (but make for stunning scenery!). You can borrow from my gear garage, where you’ll find any props, gear, and adventure supplies you need to feel comfortable. Add it to your pack, and I’ll bring it for no extra charge.
