Hey, I’m Kelly, that fun person you invite to your wedding who knows how to snap memories and find the best spots for the view, a.k.a. your Utah or Colorado elopement photographer.
My husband and I eloped 7 years ago and had so much fun. Best part? We didn’t have to dance in front of people or find “unique” wedding ideas on Pinterest. We were able to be fully present with each other, having the day we dreamed of. That’s how I figured out I wanted to photograph elopements!
Now 120+ elopements later, it’s still so exciting to scout locations, figure out a timeline, snap and edit your photos, and yes, even figure out the legal stuff.

STEP 1: PHONE CALL
First, let’s get to know each other! I want to hear your love story and your vision for your elopement. Every little thing that matters to you matters to me. I’ll focus on those unique aspects of your relationships so we can bring them to life on your elopement day!
STEP 2: UNLIMITED PLANNING CONSULTS
My job is to curate a day that is everything you dreamed of and more. From travel logistics to custom hiking maps, I will lock down every damn detail so you can have your elopement vision realized. It’ll be all gravy, baby – stress-free and full of friggin’ excitement!
STEP 3: GET MARRIED!
When your big day arrives, I want you focused on one thing and one thing only: loving the heck out of each other! That’s all you need to do. I’ll deliver an experience you’ll never forget and fan-freakin-tastic photos to keep your day alive forever.

Do I need a permit?
Permits depend on where you decide to get married. When I scope out locations during our planning session, I’ll find out the permit requirements and whether I can apply for them or if you have to.
How much venue planning do you do?
I specialize in finding public land spaces for ceremonies of up to 15 people. Any more than that, you’ll likely have to find an actual establishment to rent out.
How much coverage do we need?
You don’t need to pick your package right now. That’s what the free planning session is for! Once I know what you envision for your elopement, I’ll be able to recommend an adventure elopement package.
Where do I get my wedding license?
Each state has different rules and processes for your wedding license. You can see my Colorado Elopement Guide or my Utah Elopement Guide for details. Wherever you get married, I’ll help you determine the legal requirements during the planning stage.
What is required to book an adventure elopement package?
It’s super simple! You’ll need a 50% retainer, a firm date, a signed contract, and a general location to secure your wedding date on my calendar.
How do you prompt photos?
Kinda hate photos? No one wants a camera in their face 24/7, especially on their wedding day. I find the shots without making you awkwardly stand there with a perma smile for just one more photo. That means, I do a mix of documentary style with some posing.
Can we add more hours after we book an adventure elopement?
Abso-freakin-lutely! Packages are just a starting point. Once we figure out how exactly you want your elopement day to look, we can add more hours.
How do I change into my wedding clothes outside?
It all depends on the location you decide on! All the adventure elopement packages include a personalized timeline, where you’ll find all the details, including where you’ll change into your wedding clothes. And if you need a changing tent, I got you.
How many photos will we receive?
Every day is different! But, in general, expect 40-50 images per hour booked.
Where do you offer elopement photography?
I offer Colorado elopement packages, and Utah elopement packages (check out my Moab elopement packages, and Telluride Elopement Packages too!), but I’m absolutely stoked to go anywhere in the world for your adventure elopement!
