Capturing Moments and Memories at The Red Earth Venue
Hey, I’m Kelly! (that’s me <<<) Living in Grand Junction, CO makes me so happy knowing i’m only an hour and a half away from this incredible Moab wedding venue. A nice scenic view along I70 with a true crime podcast on, and it’s a quick and easy work commute for me. Pretty perfect, actually!
Having had the privilege of witnessing countless love stories unfold amidst the majestic backdrop of The Red Earth Venue, I hold a special connection to this place. If I were to walk down the aisle again, there’s no doubt it would be beneath the towering cliffs and boundless sky of this incredibly beautiful and unique venue.
To me, The Red Earth Venue is more than just a location or building – it’s a sanctuary of creativity, romance, and enduring beauty. Through my photography, I aim to preserve and share the magic of this extraordinary place with all of my couples, one wedding at a time.
In this blog i’ll go over the parks near the venue, showcase a few weddings i’ve photographed at the venue, and list out my Red Earth Venue Wedding Photography packages.
Exploring the Magic of The Red Earth Venue
moab’s hidden gem | RED EARTH VENUE
Thinking of having a Red Earth Venue wedding? Nestled amidst the captivating landscape of Moab, Utah, lies a hidden gem that embodies the essence of this ruggedly beautiful terrain – The Red Earth Venue. Far from just another event space, The Red Earth Venue offers an experience that transcends the ordinary, immersing visitors in the natural grandeur and vibrant culture of the region.
Where to take pictures before or after your Red Earth Venue Wedding?
For those captivated by the scenic charm of The Red Earth Venue, the surrounding area offers a plethora of picture-perfect locations to capture unforgettable moments. Whether you prefer the tranquility of the venue’s own picturesque property or seek adventure in the wider Moab area, there’s something to suit every couple looking to get married at the Red Earth Venue! Here are a few of my favorites….
Dead Horse Point State Park
A short 30 minute drive can put you on some of the most breathtaking views in Moab, and one of my favorite places in the state to photograph, Dead Horse Point State Park. The sprawling canyon views, Colorado river, and La Sal Mountains in the distance make this an epic spot for pictures.
arches national park
Drive just a few miles down the road and you’ll be at Arches National Park, a photographer’s dream with over 2,000 natural sandstone arches. The striking red rock formations against the blue sky create a perfect backdrop for wedding photos.
Canyonlands National Park
A bit of a further drive, but still in Moab. Deep canyons, towering mesa, other-earthly hoodoos, ancient pictographs, and the Colorado River — Canyonlands National Park is one of the most breathtaking places for pictures after your Red Earth Venue wedding.

I love what I do, and so do they…
“Kelly was absolutely phenomenal from day one! I contacted a few other photographers before finding her and I immediately fell in love with her style and the way that she captured each moment. I reached out and she quickly responded and set up a time to talk. From our first conversation it felt like we were talking with a old friend. As we discussed our vision for our wedding day she shared our excitement and we went over a theoretical timeline of what the day would look like. It was evident that she was experienced and professional. As soon as we hung up the phone I knew that we would be booking with her! When the big day arrived, she was right on time and was so prepared! I highly recommend the 12 hour day – it was enough time to go at a relaxed pace and enjoy the day while being able to document everything. She was with us from sunup to sundown and never missed a beat – literally laying in the dirt and climbing up the canyon walls to get the best angles. Less than 24 hours after my wedding, we had over 40 sneak peek photos and a month after our wedding we had all of our photos. I was thrilled with the turnaround time but more importantly, the quality of the pictures!
I can’t recommend Kelly enough! 11/10, 5 Stars, A+ person and photographer.”
