“We find the idea of eloping to be more intimate and special rather than performative. Neither of us want to be in the spotlight and that isn’t really avoidable in a traditional wedding. Also, if it wasn’t obvious, we both LOVE being out in nature.”

What I did for them
- Multiple location suggestions for them to choose from. Easier to get to location options for their ceremony with guests, plus other options that are more “off the beaten path” for a solo adventure with more privacy
- Gave them a customized 3D Map of all of the locations I suggested. Showing exact hiking trails, 4×4 roads, highlighting the routes, distance and elevation gain
- Boots on the ground location scouting to make sure the 4×4 road hadn’t changed since the last time i’d been there
- Pulled permits for eloping on public lands
- Helped them pick out a cocktail bar that fit their vibe
- Personalized a list of vendors in Telluride that specialize in adventure elopements
- Gear Garage Items: Picnic blanket, JBL Bluetooth speaker
- Helped them with where to go for their marriage license, and I signed as the officiant for their marriage license to make it all official
- Ordered a charcuterie board from a local vendor in my town, picked it up, and brought it with me to their elopement
- Created a timeline including a first look, 4x4ing up the mountain pass, their ceremony with 6 guests, stopping at a waterfall, getting cocktails in downtown Telluride, then heading up a 4×4 road outside of Telluride to walk through the aspens, have a picnic, and wrapping up their day at the most beautiful mountain viewpoint for sunset
- Sneak peek of 20 pictures delivered 4 days after their elopement, final gallery delivered at ~8 weeks
