Heidi + Morgan’s Crested Butte Hiking Elopement
Heidi and Morgan came to me wanting to elope anywhere in Colorado. They weren’t set on where, but they were interested in a Crested Butte hiking elopement because it was special to them and they love the old saloons in town. So, while I did suggest some non Crested Butte locations to them, they stuck to what their hearts was telling them! Their date? Mid June. Was there still snow on the trails? Yes! 2023 was a record breaking year of snow fall in Colorado, so it took well in July for all the mountain snow to melt! It made for some fun navigating during their hike! 😊 The morning of their elopement, the aspens were just beginning to bud, and there was snow/rain in the forecast! Even though it ended up raining about half way into their day, it didn’t bring their spirits down at all! As you can see, Heidi and Morgan were extremely smitten for one another and just so excited to be starting their marriage. After their Crested Butte hiking elopement in the morning we all went back and took naps and then met up later on in the afternoon at a local saloon for beers and pub games. It was such a fun night. I can’t wait to hang out with these two again! Congrats Heidi and Morgan! You’re so badass!!!! 🥾
